Rarely are two days ever the same. What we do, how we do it, and how successful we are at doing it, means that the work is often varied and challenging. You have to bring your ‘A-game’ every day. There is little room for error.
You’ll find us with our Clients.
Our business is all about understanding our Clients and helping them to transform their operations – to deliver step-changes in performance. That’s why you generally won’t find us in our office – you’ll find us working alongside our Clients in their office. While most of our work is UK focused, we go where our Clients need us which can lead to us working in Ireland, Switzerland, BeNeLux, Germany, or even further afield in the US, India, or the Philippines.
Nothing stands still.
The world keeps turning, and nothing stands still. How we worked 5, 10, 20 years ago is not how we work today. We need to adapt and keep adapting. We are constantly striving to do things bigger, better, and quicker. Although skills, techniques and tools evolve, professionalism remains constant – it is a cornerstone.
Living life on a rollercoaster.
The work is often demanding, it can stretch capabilities, push boundaries, and typically has to be done to meet aggressive timelines. There are times when the adrenaline is pumping as the team races to meet and exceed Client expectations – and there are times where the adrenaline just runs out. Our marathons are more like the cycling omnium with a series of sprints. Then of course there are times for coffee (or a herbal tea) and then there are times to celebrate!
Life can be too serious.
Work hard. Play hard. We strongly encourage everyone to work towards a healthy work / life balance. We believe everyone should ‘work to live’ not ‘live to work’. We encourage teams that work and deliver together, to celebrate together and to recognise exceptional performance. Some find this easier to achieve than others. We encourage everyone to take time out when they can.

Whilst it is all about ‘team’ – be that being part of an integrated Client team or part of the Hillbrooke team – we like to recognise and reward exceptional performance within the team. If someone delivers above and beyond, we like to make a fuss about it.
